This private 1/2 acre property offers 100 ft of ocean/beach frontage directly on spectacular Chesterman Beach. Built among giant evergreens and facing westward on the open Pacific, the Tofino Beach House offers one of the most spectacular locations for a romantic getaway, family vacation or an unforgettable get-together with friends.

With its airy architecture, the house opens itself to the surrounding nature, the generous deck is perfect for the long summer nights under Clayoquot Sound’s starry skies and the hot tub in the private bath house enjoys the same beautiful view of the ocean. To enjoy a beach fire as well as take in one of Tofino’s gorgeous sunsets, there is a private firepit area with bench seating. The tasteful interior with its eclectic mix of artwork and antiques invites you to spend time with our collection of books.

Beautiful location with stunning house - winter watch paradise!

Very comfortable home that has a real fireplace for wood which was a great asset. Large windows make it fun to watch the surf all day/night long. Nicely secluded amongst the trees. Hot tub was absolutely top notch with comfortable seating for 6. Lovely loft king bed and bedroom with twin beds.

Beautiful Chesterman Beach

Before breakfast walks on Chesterman Beach were a highlight of our stay. The heated floors of the bathrooms and laundry room made for happy feet. The house was clean and the TV was nice. However, in August of 2021 when we made the reservation, it was for a 3 bedroom (2 doubles and a twin) 3 bath property. When we arrived in October of 2022, it was a 2 bedroom (double and twin) 2 bath property, the cottage being locked up with no key available - and no communication to us of this fact by the property manager before our arrival. Not too bad, except if you are a 70+ year old with bad hips who had to climb narrow and what felt like steep steps up to the double bed room each night. And, since 2014, we have not booked a place with fewer than two double bed rooms since a good night's sleep is important to us and beds are not all alike.

First time to Tofino

The location could not be better. The view is amazing and Chesterman beach which is literally right there couldn't be more beautiful or better for walking. We surfed right out our back door. Downtown Tofino is at most a 10 minute drive. The neighbors were very quiet and the home is an amazing mix of peaceful, yet close to everything. Can't wait to return!

Great home and location

This was our second stay and have booked again for next year. Property doesn't disappoint; beautiful main house and amazing "bunkie" in back. Walk right on to North Chesterman's Beach. Ocean view from main house and hot tub. Host, Jan, very responsive to questions or issues.
