1. Galey Farms

Galey Farms is one of the best U-pick pumpkin patches in Victoria, BC, and is perfect for those seeking an afternoon of fall-themed fun. This local produce farm has a huge pumpkin patch filled with beautiful orange pumpkins, but the fun doesn’t end there!

Every fall, Galey Farms hosts their spooktacular, family-friendly Pumpkinfest (tickets are online only). Featuring a train ride, corn maze filled with spooky Halloween-themed displays, kid-friendly haunted house, live entertainment, hay rides and more, this event is packed full of festive fall activities!

And for the brave of heart, there’s the scarier Festival of Fear and Carnevil haunted house. Tickets to these events don’t include the pumpkin patch, though.

2. Ocean View Estates

If you want to combine pumpkin picking with solving a corn maze, the Saanichton Pumpkin Patch at Ocean View Estates Farm is another great option. Located on the Saanich Peninsula, this family-owned farm is home to a large pumpkin patch, fun corn maze, and scary Halloween events (Fright Nights)!

Navigate 4-acres of twisting paths and dead ends through the corn maze, and then when you finally escape, head to their awesome pumpkin patch! They have lots of squashes to choose from, including several different varieties of pumpkins.

The Saanichton Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch also hosts Fright Nights, for those who want a scary corn maze experience. Explore their fields in the dark, while terrifying clowns, zombies, and other monsters (played by live actors) try to scare you!

3. Michell’s Farm

If you’ve driven the Patricia Bay Highway up to Sidney in autumn, you’ve probably noticed the impressive pumpkin patch at Michell’s Farm. Right near the highway and Lochside Trail, this pumpkin patch always heralds in the fall with large, beautiful orange pumpkins.

Every year, their U-Pick Pumpkin Patch opens up in October so you can pick the best pumpkin possible. Additionally, this family-owned farm sells a variety of fresh seasonal produce grown on their 400+ acres, as well as locally made foods like honey and baked goods.

Unlike some of the other farms in the area, this spot doesn’t have a corn maze or many other fall-themed activities. But, for a simple pumpkin picking experience, Michell’s Farm can’t be beat!

Bickford Farms is a lesser-known produce farm in Saanichton that offers a great little U-Pick pumpkin patch. Open dawn to dusk, they’re a great spot to head for some last minute pumpkin picking.

For those seeking a smaller, less busy pumpkin patch experience, Bickford Farms is an excellent choice. Not only that, they also sell some pretty good corn!

5. McNab’s Corn Maze & Produce Farm

Don’t mind driving out of town? McNab’s Corn Maze & Produce Farm is a charming farm in Ladysmith near Nanaimo, about 90 minutes north from downtown Victoria.

This pumpkin patch is definitely out of the way if you live in Victoria. But, for those willing to drive, McNab’s has lots of things to do in the fall!

At this working farm, you’ll find an excellent pumpkin patch with hayrides, a 7-acre corn maze, and a produce stand selling their freshly grown vegetables. They also have fire pit rentals and an annual Halloween Night Bonfire!
